King County Elections Certifies the April 2025 Special Election

Today, May 2, 2025 King County Elections (KCE) certified the April 2025 Special Election.

King County

Ballots Counted: 360,094 
  • Registered Voters: 1,427,439
  • Percentage of registered voters submitting ballots:  25.23% 
Proposition No. 1 AFIS (Regional Automated Fingerprint Identification System) Levy
  • Approved - 209,737 - 58.34% 
  • Rejected - 149,760 - 41.66%

I am aware that these are important projects but at 77 on fixed income the continual raid on our property thru taxes is making life difficult for the elderly to survive. I've lived my whole life in what is now Shoreline and hope I can finish out life here rather than being taxed out.
