Tuesday, January 6, 2026, the King County Council recognized Ken Jennings, the current host of Jeopardy! and a past 74-game winner.

Born in Edmonds, Jennings attended the UW and currently resides in Seattle. He took over as host of Jeopardy! in 2023, and is also a successful author and a supporter of pancreatic cancer research.
