GoFundMe set up to raise money for legal fees for Shoreline resident taken by ICE agents

According to the organizer, Guzman has been transferred to the ICE detention center in Tacoma.
"With limited means of reaching out to Ivan, we desperately need an attorney to help get in contact with him, and build a case against his illegal abduction."

sorry things have come to this point but we all are responsible as a country for kicking the can down the road and not crafting a rational immigration policy that is fair for the immigrant and provides predictability and order for legal citizens. chaos and diregard for laws combined with " looking the other way" by folks on all sides of the political spectrum have brought us to this point. I do feel bad for those caught up in this mess but encourage all of us to realize as a country we have been unwilling to craft an immigration policy that makes sense usually due to partisan rancor. Many countries including Canada have been willing to bulid a sound immigration system.

We have immigration laws and are finally enforcing them. Here illegally? Self deport to preserve your chance to enter legally and eventually become a US citizen. You really have no excuse if and when ICE picks you up.
Not clear to me how we know this was an illegal abduction. If the gentleman is a US citizen, that should be easy to prove. If not a citizen then he could have some other status that provides a legal right to be here. If he does not have and cannot document citizenship or status that allows him to be here legally, then he may in fact be an illegal alien subject to apprehension, detention and possible deportation.

Trump doesn't care about anything but Trump. Still can't believe so many people were bamboozled by his "make america great again" propaganda slogan. Oh yes and be sure to set up a Trump Account in your child's name for their birthday or Christmas, dont give them any presents, they will surely understand- do this instead..ridiculous promotion and heartless to say the very least. The guys in the illegal alien, he broke the law coming to the United States. If you want to race some money, raise money for the people that he’s displaced.
Folks please keep in mind racial profiling is not legal. ICE pulling someone over because of the color of their skin is not legal. ICE arresting someone in a parking lot because they look Latino is not legal. When federal agents aren't following the laws it is everyone's problem regardless of what you look like.
