I voted for Prop 1 even though it would have cost me $3000/ year for my house on the lake. Public lake access is a wonderful thing. Hopefully the park still goes through on a less ambitious level. Put down some grass seed and remove the old cabins.

I see people want our town to stagnate and not build new parks and sidewalks. ridiculous

Our city managers and elected officials should take note of tax payer anger and find better ways to finance these projects. Or maybe they should move on to other jobs outside of government and stop dictating their plans on the people who would pay the bill. It is time to start showing tax increases over the last 8 years so the public can see they have doubled and yet there is no noticable improvement in the community, rather city managers and departments have made livability worse despite the tax increases.
