I have seen cars zooming by the light going south on Aurora when it is about to change to red. They try to beat the light because they are probably frustrated from having to stop at every single light! Having to stop at every light, is totally one of the most annoying driving experience!!
I don't know why the light sequences are set up to change at every corner. Why can the traffic lights be sequenced to change every 4 lights or so...? The clear reason why accidents happen is because of drivers trying to advance, tryi to beat the lights.
I don't know if this was thought of before or after the nightmare.
I am confident that there are many drivers who side with me.
