King County Council declares National Service Dog Month

King County Councilmembers

On Tuesday September 23, 2025, the King County Council proclaimed September 2025 as NATIONAL SERVICE DOG MONTH in recognition of people living with disabilities and to celebrate the ability afforded to adults, children, and veterans to lead more independent lives through the assistance of service dogs. 

Canine Companions joined them for the announcement
