The Solstice was on Sunday, the days are getting longer and somehow there are flowers blooming. Lee Lageschulte found daffodils, rhododendrons, and whatever the purple plant is.

It doesn't mean that we won't have harsher weather or snow. It certainly has happened before, but it's lovely to have these Christmas surprises.
