Volunteer to keep bike lanes clear with Meryl Sweep
Thursday, June 18, 2026
MERYL SWEEP, our pedal-powered bike lane sweeper, is up and running!!! (Thanks to everyone who helped with the all-important task of naming this grand dame.)
Want to help keep Shoreline’s bike lanes debris-free? Join a volunteer training! Meryl is easier to tow with an e-bike, but any bike will work.
Two upcoming trainings:
- Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 11am
- Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at 6:30pm
- Both will be held at the Shoreline Tool Library 16610 Aurora Ave N, Shoreline 98133
Then help sweep Shoreline's bike lanes this summer, from July to November. Meryl will be kept at the Shoreline Tool Library and you can sign up for sweeper shifts after training. We will work with you to schedule a sweeper shift at a time convenient for you.
Meryl Sweep, and our volunteer trainings, are made possible in part through a City of Shoreline Environmental Mini-Grant.
