Tuesday night, May 20, 2025 at about 9:17pm, there was a home invasion robbery with an assault around N 155 St and Meridian Ave N.

The suspect(s) was unknown to the victim and was reported have fled on foot.

Update: Two victims were transported to Harborview, one by medics and one by Aid for treatment of their injuries.

King County Sheriff's deputies from Shoreline responded, with a helicopter, two drones, and a K9 unit out looking for the suspect(s), but no one was located.

The fingerprint unit (AFIS) responded to the scene to process it.

Our Major Crimes Unit declined to respond to the incident, so Shoreline has jurisdiction and is currently investigating.

Shoreline sounds like it is def going the way of Seattle, more crime, homeless and general mayhem. One indication is more graffiti and vandalism. I recall the " broken windows" concept of a community that is looking neglected and beat down as being open invitation for criminal activity. It doesnt have to be this way if we take care of each other and take pride in our community and above all be realistic about the challenges Shoreline is facing in being so close to a city that has pretty much lost all hope of being safe and secure for it's residents ie - Seattle.

What constitues a “major crime”, as if this isn’t?

This why we have the right to protect ourselves with firearms.

Arm yourselves?

True. See something, say something. When you see strangers casing a house or neighborhood, take pictures. Ask if they are lost ? Make them your aware and "friendly"!

When we moved into Shoreline decades ago people didn't even lock their doors. Of course, our neighbor to the south was a much better run city then, too.
