After 24 days of construction, NE 145th Street and the southbound I-5 exit and entrance ramps are set to reopen on Thursday, September 18, 2025.
What’s new?
A new roundabout on the west end of the I-5 overpass. Traffic will shift into a temporary configuration that uses a single-lane configuration of the roundabout while construction continues.
This is a major milestone in improving mobility and safety in the corridor. Crews will continue working in the area — please drive carefully and follow posted signs. Thank you for your patience and support throughout the closure!
As a reminder a second roundabout on the east end of the I-5 overpass is scheduled to open in early 2026.
Until then, the intersection will remain signalized.

A lot longer than 24 days of construction.
I'll be really surprised if they make this date. The East side doesn't look even close to being finished. At least it didn't last evening. Good luck!
