Flags at Half-staff for Patriot Day September 11, 2025

Governor Bob Ferguson
I hereby direct that Washington state and United States flags at all state agency facilities be lowered to half-staff on Thursday, September 11, 2025, for national Patriot Day, the annual memorial to the victims of the 2001 tragedy.
Flags should remain at half-staff until close of business or sunset on Thursday, September 11, 2025.
Other government entities, individuals and businesses are encouraged to join this recognition.

so it goes - "we will never forget" - what? My mother was reading the Sunday funnies when Pearl Harbor was hit and really never forgot. For 9-11 we already have another generation who have no idea. Some of us note it as the beginning of the acceleration of the loss of our democracy - Patriot Act, anyone? (Please note the exclusions for real estate).
