David Rose: Arrest Made in Series of Assaults in Mountlake Terrace

CAPTURED: Arrest Made in Series of Assaults:

The Mountlake Terrace Police Department has concluded an investigation into a series of concerning encounters and assaults reported on the east side of the city.

Since May 2026, the department received at least twelve reports involving a male subject described as a bald white or Hispanic male in his 30s to 40s approaching juvenile and adult women and initiating unsolicited contact.

These encounters escalated over the past two weeks to include unwanted touching, prompting increased patrols and investigative efforts.

On September 16, 2026, officers arrested Marbin Yovanni Garcia Quixal for multiple assaults with sexual motivation. He was booked into the Snohomish County Jail at approximately 7:45 p.m.

Detectives are continuing to review all related reports to determine any additional connections.
