Parks Open & Re-Opening Soon

James Keough Park

Here is the status of Shoreline parks that were in the 2022 Park Bond and are either under construction or close to completion.

James Keough Park is now open! Location: 2350 N 167th

Completed! The improvements include a new off-leash dog area, new restrooms, a new play area, skate features, a picnic pavilion, and a half-court sport court. The opening of James Keough Park is the fifth project we have completed as part of the 2022 Park Bond.

Brugger’s Bog Park Location: 19553 25th Avenue NE

Estimated completion: Winter 2026. An expanded park with a new play area, picnic shelter, sport court, restroom, and accessible path is coming soon to the Ballinger neighborhood!

Parks Closed /Under Construction

Upper Hamlin Park Location: 25th Avenue NE and NE 160th Street

Estimated completion: Fall 2026. Shoreline’s first splash pad is coming soon to Upper Hamlin Park! We’re also building a picnic shelter, loop walking path, and all-ages play area.

Hillwood Park Location: 19001 3rd Avenue NW

Estimated completion: Fall 2027. Construction has started. Improvements will include a spray park, loop path, multi-sport court, play area, picnic shelter, and benches, among other things.
