Echo Aumick was the footcare specialist at the Shoreline - Lake Forest Park Senior Center for 25 years. Her retirement was honored by over 150 of her grateful clients at an informal reception at the Center on Tuesday September 8, 2026.

The event was an informal drop in for two and a half hours.
People arrived steadily throughout the event.

She is a Certified Nursing Assistant and was managing 400+ clients by the time she retired. At one point she had over 500 clients! All this while commuting daily from Skyway.

The sign on the wall says "Echo's Retirement"

Executive Director Emily Jones says,

Echo was an invaluable part of the Shoreline Senior Center community, and we were so happy to be able to celebrate her well-deserved retirement.
Over 150 community members stopped by to share a memory over a piece of cake, and she ended up having so many gifts we had to load up a cart to get them out to her car!

Echo's plans for the future include travel, with major trips planned for the next three years.

The Senior Center plans to fill her position but is having difficulty finding candidates.
