WARM -- WASHINGTON ADOPTION REUNION MOVEMENT

REUNITING FAMILIES SEPARATED BY ADOPTION

50th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

Over 10,000 families served for traditional adoptee/birth parent searches but also to obtain documents for Tribal enrollment, dual citizenship, or helping the client with obtaining documents to prove name changes for social security and similar governmental agencies, or estate issues.

WARM has worked not only with Washington adoption records but also obtaining records in other states.

Instrumental in enacting the Confidential Intermediary law. The Washington CI system was a model for other states.

Participated in the 2014 WA law change allowing adult adoptees and birth mothers to directly obtain the OBC - Original Birth Certificate .

Added DNA analysis/tree building/genealogical services in 2016. Approximately 180 families provided with truth and biological family members they never knew about, and sometimes fascinating historical facts related to the client’s biological family.

For 50 years, WARM has enriched lives and provided truth.
