Multi-lane roundabout? Choose your lane before you enter.
A key difference with multi-lane roundabouts is that you need to pick the right lane before you enter.
As you approach:
- Slow down and look for signs and pavement markings.
- Choose your lane based on where you’re going.
- Yield to all traffic already in the roundabout, including vehicles in the inside lane that might be exiting.
- Enter when there is a safe gap.
Remember, signs and pavement markings are there to help you. Follow them instead of making a last-minute lane change.
