Shoreline automotive students and faculty welcome Subaru and accept the donation

Thanks to Subaru of America, Shoreline College students now have another vehicle to learn on: a donated 2019 Subaru Outback valued at approximately $30,000.

The Outback will give students hands-on experience with newer technology and electrical features, allowing our Automotive faculty to add new lessons and give students experience with the kinds of vehicles they’ll encounter on the job.

Subaru has been a longtime partner of Shoreline’s Automotive program, donating 10 vehicles along with scan tools, factory equipment, and training opportunities for our instructors.

“Learning on the product that they will be working on is huge,” said Automotive Instructor Amber Avery-Graff.

"Thank you, Subaru of America, for continuing to invest in our students and the next generation of automotive technicians!"
