Email scam targets Lake Forest Park residents

SCAM EMAIL ALERT

A scam email using City of Lake Forest Park logo, City of Lake Forest Park project information, and names of our City Planners was received by applicants recently, to the email listed on land use and building projects, asking for wire transfer payment. 

This is NOT a legitimate email. The City of Lake Forest Park does NOT request wire transfer of money, and we only invoice project fees through @iworq.net. Permit fees for Lake Forest Park are paid at City Hall or over the phone at 206-957-2813.
