Twenty-five years later, we remember September 11, 2001, and the lives forever changed that day.

For three nights—September 9 through 11—the training towers at Station 61 in Shoreline and Station 51 in Kenmore and our neighbors in Bothell, will be illuminated with two spotlights representing the Twin Towers.

The lights serve as a tribute to the lives lost, and to the firefighters, police officers, EMTs, and countless others who responded with courage and compassion.

We remember those who never made it home. We honor those who ran toward danger to help others. And we remember the families, friends, and communities who continue to carry their loss.

We will never forget.
