Echo Lake Native Plant Area celebrated the end of summer with a wonderful weeding and mulching party. 

Thanks to all our volunteers, and a special shout out to the hard working team from Wendi Valle’s State Farm. The Native Plant Zone is absolutely transformed with all the love it got this summer. Thanks to the Green Shoreline Partnership!"

Echo Lake is home to many native conifers and other natives. This year we even had a pair of nesting Green Heron, which was very special. Thanks to Nancy Morrison for this amazing photo, back before they left the nest.

And many thanks to our crew of King County Lake Stewards who go out on the lake 12 times a year to check the water quality and take samples for the lab.
