Olympic Fly Fishers of Edmonds meeting Tuesday October 13, 2026

Olympic Fly Fishers of Edmonds proudly welcomes “Western Rivers Conservancy” for our Tuesday, October 13, 2026 meeting, from 6-8pm at the Lake Ballinger Center. Western Rivers Conservancy is a national nonprofit dedicated to protecting the lands that rivers need to thrive.

Their presentation “Sometimes to Save a River You Have to Buy It,” explores how strategic land protection plays a critical role in restoring river systems and expanding public access across the state

At our October meeting we’ll explore this conservation model through the lens of real projects here in Washington, including Robe Canyon along the Snoqualmie River.

Western Rivers Conservancy is one of several organizations Olympic Fly Fishers of Edmonds supports through our annual conservation donations-part of our ongoing commitment to giving back to the waters and landscapes that gives so much to our community.
