Shorewood will be sending 6 District 1 qualifiers to Snohomish High School tennis courts, October 27-28, 2026. Shorewood had the most qualifiers of all the Wesco South teams.
The six qualifiers make Shorewood one of the top favorites to win the District 1 Championship. They will face stiff competition from Shorecrest, Stanwood and North League Champions Snohomish.
District 1 matches start at 11am on Tuesday the 27th and 1pm on Wednesday the 28th, at Snohomish HS Courts.
Coach Arnie Moreno felt confident that he had a great team, the 2026 WIAA defending State Champions, going into the league tournament and first step towards qualifying for the state tournament.
“I am so very proud of the team as every one of them raised their level of play and contributed to the team success. They played their best and win or lose gave it everything they had, “
