Friends of Shoreline Library Book Sale

Friends of the Shoreline Library Book Sale Friday - Sunday September 18 - 20, 2026.

What will you find at this sale: 

• Used books that we have received as donations since our last sale in April. 
• We have adult and children's books--fiction and nonfiction.
• We are known for our high quality and interesting offerings. 
• Large paperbacks and hardbound books are $1 and smaller paperbacks are $.50. 
• We have a wonderful selection of individually priced books starting at $3.00.

What does Friends of Shoreline Library do with the money raised from this sale? All the monies raised stay within the Shoreline community, funding programs that would otherwise be impossible for our library to afford.

What is different on Friday night? You must be a member to attend this sale, but you get the chance to buy the best of the offerings before the general public does. Memberships are available at the door for only $10. We also hold a small silent auction for a few really exceptional books.

How does Sunday Bag Sale work? For $5 we sell you a large shopping bag (thank you QFC!) which you fill with as many books as you can--one shopper packed over 100 books one year, but most were smaller paperbacks!
