Weekly protests continued on a bright sunny Sunday at the intersection of 205th and Aurora on January 18, 2026. The weather was a welcome change from the cold and rain of the week before when 560 people protested the death of Renee Good in Minneapolis at the hands of an ICE agent.

Over 100 protesters waved signs mostly protesting ICE and specifically the shooting of Renee Good in Minnesota. Many also protested the threats to invade Greenland. Signs were more serious in nature - no longer with the humor of many earlier signs.
With ICE now in Shoreline at the same area, protesters and passing vehicles seemed to be getting angrier. Whistles were distributed. There was no pause in honking cars, with people waving and giving thumbs up and peace signs.
Protests will continue on Sundays from 1 - 2pm at this location.

Thankyou for your determination against ICE Thugs.
I voted for this. Thank you President Trump.
I seriously doubt any of these protesters have paid minimum wage to the illegals they pick up for yard work. The illegals broke the law coming here but the hypocrite, liberal citizens hiring them at starvation wages are far worse.
power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely ( (John Dalberg-Acton). Too bad we have come to this but the reality is that illegal immigration has been fueled by both the right and left over many years with both sides turning a blind eye and kicking the can down the road. We have a tendency to do this with immoral, controversial things in this country with the consequences coming to bear in harmful ways, ie slavery and many others.

Important to stand up for civil rights and against government overreach. We should be an example of a free country. Not a second world autocracy
"Anonymous" berating "anonymous" for being anonymous. Oh, the irony.
People like throwing around words like "autocracy" without considering their true meaning. The people of this country voted in a free and fair election for the president who would enforce immigration laws on the books, replacing the previous policy of letting anyone who wants to saunter into the country over the southern border. When you see ICE in our neighborhoods enforcing the law, that is democracy in action. Our state can disagree all we want, but we do not get to opt out.
Being here undocumented is a civil offense. Not a criminal offense. Imagine being sought after like this because you weren't paying your parking tickets, or your speeding tickets, your red light tickets. Get off your high horses. Immigration was never meant to be dealt with in such a cruel and heartless manner, and in case you news sources are skewed these guys aren't stopping at the "illegal immigrants".

We are all responsible for each other. Stop treating your neighbors and their children like "others".
