At 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday, August 20, the Northshore Fire Department responded to the 15300 block of Bothell Way NE to a report of a male, age unknown, who had fallen approximately 60 feet down a steep ravine.

Upon arrival crews received information from the Lake Forest Park Police that officers were with a slightly injured male patient who was unable to walk out of the ravine on his own.

The Technical Rescue Team from the Northshore Fire Department brought the patient up the ravine in a rescue litter with the aid of a specialized rope system.

The Northshore Technical Rescue Team received assistance from the Shoreline, Bothell, Woodinville, Kirkland and Bellevue Fire Departments and the Lake Forest Park Police.
