Reminder: Seattle Dahlia Show this Saturday at Sky Nursery

Just a sample of what you'll see at the Dahlia Show

The annual Dahlia Show arrives this weekend, August 23-24 at Sky Nursery.

Sponsored by the Puget Sound Dahlia Association, thousands of dahlias will turn the big greenhouse into a sea of color.

Show hours at Sky are 9 - 6 on Saturday and 9 - 4 on Sunday. There also is a free presentation on dahlia cultivation (Saturday at 1:30 pm) and visitors can meet with the dahlia experts at the PSDA info booth. 

Enjoy the perfectly-grown blooms, bountiful baskets and artful arrangements, take notes on which varieties to buy, and focus on photography, since Sky's vast greenhouse allows natural lighting to bring out the best color of these floral fireworks.
