SCC Women's Soccer Drops 1-0 Game To Green River

SCC played good defense, but offense could not muster a goal.

The Lady Dolphin Soccer Team dropped an important match to Green River Community College Saturday, October 29, 2011, 1-0 at Dolphin Field on the SCC Campus. SCC now falls into 4th place in the region, with only the top three teams making the playoffs. SCC has two more matches next week, Wednesday at Whatcom Community College and then next Saturday at home against Edmonds CC.

Green River scored in the 26th minute and while Shoreline dominated much of the second half, they could not put the ball in the net.

SCC is 7-6-4 overall and 7-5-2 in the region. Green River moves to 10-4-3 overall and 8-4-2 in the region.
