Shoreline Fire Cadet program for youth 16-20 interested in careers as firefighters

There will be a Cadet Information Meeting Saturday, May 19, 10am to noon at the Shoreline Fire Department headquarters 17525 Aurora Ave N, Shoreline 98133

The fire cadet program offers young men and women an opportunity to explore a career in the fire service. The program involves many hands-on and team oriented learning activities while training alongside career firefighters.

Who can apply

To quality for the program, you must:

• Be between the ages of 16-20 years old
• Be in good physical condition (must complete the Cadet Program Physical Ability Test)
• Meet required attendance expectations
• Have a strong desire to pursue a career as a firefighter

How to apply

Open enrollment until June 1, 2018. Individuals can only apply during the open enrollment period. To apply, complete the Fire Cadet Program application and questionnaire. More information HERE
