Seattle Times: Construction threatens beloved Grinders shop

The Seattle Times food blog wrote a column about the difficulties that Grinders Restaurant is facing during the construction of the final mile of Aurora.
Even though Grinders is a destination restaurant, it is challenging for even regulars to find the driveway. You have to ignore the people behind you, drive slowly, and look for the blue Business Access sign.

Grinders, home of prize-winning giant sandwiches, is located at 19811 Aurora Ave N, 206-542-0627, on the west side of Aurora. The family friendly restaurant has a large menu of large sandwiches, microbrews, alcohol, and soft drinks.
Hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 11am to 8pm, until 9pm on Friday and Saturday when there is live music.
