“Top Ten Conversations to have with your Kids”

Conversations are the building blocks within a family to share ideas, build trust, problem-solve, gather information, and share our stories.

  • What are some of the important talks kids and parents can have to continue growing in healthy directions and promote understanding?
  • What do children hope their parents will speak to them about?
  • How do parents encourage their children as they grow and develop to support their skills in decision-making and navigate friendships and challenges?

Parents, teachers and guardians of 4th Grade through High School:
Come to prepare or to enhance your skills for parenting, and for relating to and guiding adolescents.

Speaker:  Julie is a pediatric nurse, writer and educator.  She is a well-respected and popular speaker at schools and community groups, and co-founder of Great Conversations, an organization focused on health education for families.
