People from Briarcrest and Neighboring Communities are invited to a free storytelling workshop Thursday, December 1, 2011, 7 pm, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 14514 20th Ave NE, Shoreline 98155.
Instructor Afifi Durr is a member of the Briarcrest community and of the Seattle Storytellers Guild. She has led storytelling workshops with young and old.
Participants will learn how to craft an engaging 5-7 minute story.
The church has a free parking lot on the west side of 20th. The Briarcrest Neighbohood Association is sponsoring the event.
