Trends: Yowzers, what a week this was. The cops were so busy they were just a blue blur.

Random acts of violence
11-18...15115 Stone Ave N, Autumn Ridge apts. Rock thrown through bedroom window.
11-23...18026 Midvale N, Briarwood Apts. Unknown male throws brick through apartment window.

Suddenly people are stealing cars (and a bike)
11-23...15030 Aurora, Goldie's Casino. While victim was gambling, someone stole his keys from his jacket and used them to steal his car from the parking lot.
11-23...17300 Fremont N, Shorewood. Someone stole a student's bike, helmet and lock. Bike had been locked to the bike rack at school.
11-27...13xx N 184 Ct, housing complex. Car stolen from parking lot, wrecked, and returned.
11-27...199xx 19 NE, apartments. Car stolen and recovered in Snohomish county the next day.
11-28...N 200/3 NW. Car theft.
11-28...199xx 19 NE, apartments. Attempted car theft.
11-29...147xx Wallingford. Car stolen from in front of residence.

Throw the book at him!
11-30...148/Whitman N. Police pursued and caught car thief. Recovered stolen car. Charged driver with possession of a stolen vehicle, felony eluding, driving with suspended license, and drunk driving.

Car prowling
11-20...19524 Echo Lake Pl N, Echo Shore Condos. Car prowl. Window broken, items taken.
11-23...148xx 12 NE. Car prowl. Parked in residential driveway.
11-25...180xx 1 NW. Car prowl. Car unlocked, in residential driveway. No damage to car, items taken.
11-25...167xx Linden N. Car prowl. Car unlocked, in residential driveway. Nothing taken.
11-27...15323 Westminster, Super China Buffet. While victim was dining, someone shattered window of work vehicle and stole work computer.
11-28...8xx NE 199, duplex. Car prowl. No sign of how car was entered. Took stereo, prescription meds, vehicle title and registration.

Lots of crashing
11-19...150xx Dayton N. Two car collision. One driver had suspended license.
11-24...N 163/Aurora. Car collides with Metro bus. Driver of car had suspended license.
11-27...176/Meridian N. Traffic accident. Driver to hospital, car towed.

OMG
11-23...17300 Fremont N, Shorewood. Girl was cut from gymnastics team so two of her friends made Facebook threats against the coaches.
11-24...167xx Aurora. Driver abandons car in northbound lane of Aurora.
11-30...14817 Aurora, Rodeway Inn. Woman passed out in room at Rodeway Inn and when she woke up her companions had taken her car and property.

ID theft is the modern crime
11-24...179xx 23 Ln. Victim discovered ID theft when bank shut down his ATM card.
11-26...10xx NW 175. Fraud on debit card.
11-29...155xx Ashworth. Mail found on ground. Stolen from a couple of blocks away.
11-29...16xx N 185. Outgoing mail stolen from unlocked mailbox. Mail had a number of checks. Everett police called victim to tell her they had a suspect in custody who was trying to cash one of her checks.
11-30...200xx Greenwood. Victim's credit card information used for purchases in California.

Theft the old-fashioned way
11-22...15711 Aurora, Sears Automotive. $100 in lottery tickets stolen from car while being serviced.11-23...15332 Aurora, Safeway. Shoplift of controlled substances.
11-27...15332 Aurora, Safeway. Shoplift and assault. (probably to the Loss Prevention officer).
11-27...14717 Aurora, Oreck Vacuums. Customer knowingly left store without paying for repair services.
11-27...1175 N 205, Costco. Stole $250 camera.
11-28...18420 Aurora, Bartells. Stole coffeemaker.
11-28...18420 Aurora, Bartells. Stole candy and make up.
11-29...20330 Ballinger N, Rite Aid. Clerk saw shopper with reusable Rite Aid bag with something inside that was clanking like bottles.
11-29...179xx Midvale. Victim's purse stolen from chair in office.

Burglary
11-26...753 N 185, Richmond Masonic Center. Burglarized after an event.
11-29...20019 Aurora, Lovers. Forced entry burglary. Suspect(s) used a large rock to shatter front entry door. Rock used unsuccessfully to try to get into the safe. No known suspects.

Drunks
11-23...1140 N 192, Blakely Apts. Brother and inebriated sister get in fight in front of apartment complex.
11-23...N 200/Ashworth, AV Transit Center. Aid requested police assist with falling down drunk male at Transit Center.
11-24...15332 Aurora, Safeway. Man helps himself to Smirnoff and starts drinking it in the store.
11-27...174/Midvale N. Driver appears drunk but refuses test. Suspended license and cocaine. Booked King county jail.
11-26...155xx Burke N. Underage drinking party.
11-28...N 163/Wallingford. Drunken underage teenagers crash car then lie to police.

Very scary
11-23...148xx Wallingford. Autistic child wanders away from home.
11-25...205xx 12 Pl NW. Husband and wife were watching TV at home when someone came into yard through back gate and tried to pull the security bars from their basement window.

Public and private disturbances
11-24...162xx 10 NE. Report of woman in roadway creating a disturbance. Arrested on warrants.
11-24...1295 N 205, AV Starbucks. Male arrested for violating Trespass order from Starbucks.
11-26...189xx NW RB Rd, condos. Woman reports that neighbor kicks her door and yells. Ongoing problem.
11-27...14817 Aurora, Roadway Inn. Disturbance. Passenger refuses to pay for taxi ride.

Disturbing
11-24...195xx Stone N, Interurban Trail. Attempted robbery on the Trail.

Domestic craziness
11-24...155xx Bagley Pl N. Two roomers, who had a dating relationship years ago, got in a fight over the shared telephone and one punched out the other. Arrested for 4th degree assault.
11-25...7xx N 200. Violation of no-contact order.
11-25...145xx 31 NE. Angry woman kicks in door of other woman's condo.
11-26...145xx Stone N. Husband and wife fight, each accuse the other.
11-26...200xx 8 NW. Couple with six month old child moved into Shoreline house in April. He changed the locks on her.
11-27...9xx N 177. In a residence, woman tries to take man's phone.
11-27...15xx NE 150. Assault between parents. Male fled before police arrived. Case forwarded to court for charging.
11-26...154xx Linden N. Residence with multiple tenants. Person believes someone entered his unlocked bedroom while he was sleeping and stole items.

Yawn
11-25...3xx NW 178. Girl runs away again.
11-30...3xx NW 178. Juvenile runaway. Again.

Grab bag
11-25...16920 15 NE, 7-11. Apprehended an individual with outstanding criminal warrants.
11-26...NW RB Rd. Individuals were breaking a sign then fled on foot. "Obstructing an officer."
11-30...188xx Aurora. Motor home stored behind business. Appears that someone unauthorized was living in it.

Death and near death
11-26...177xx 2 Pl NE. Natural death of 83 year old woman in adult care home.
11-27...3xx NE 155. Suicide threat.

So what do you do then?
11-26...12xx NE 145, nursing home. Resident admitted in September after stroke and paralysis. Nursing home discovered he has an outstanding felony warrant.

Don't do that some more
11-27...17554 15 NE, North City Lounge. Man wants to report unwanted touching happening for the past four months at the North City Lounge.
