As the Lime bike and scooter pilot period nears its end in Shoreline, the City wants to know how you feel about the program and what you think its future should look like in Shoreline.

The lime litter is a nuisance. People aren't responsible enough to use these things. They are dangerous and they end up blocking sidewalks all the damn time.

Several times have these stupid scooters and "bikes" (some no longer have pedals) with their flashing lights at night been left in the middle of the sidewalk in front of my home, in bike lanes and shoulders, and even blocking my driveway access. The city desperately needs to control this if they want to continue with the program, our safety as residents should be their top priority!

They are great for the druggies who come to the house next door to mine to get their fix. I love watching the bikes and scooters come and go, and often pile up. It’s a real treat.

The rental scooters/bikes are quite handy to have around, and at least in Ridgecrest and North City seem to be very well used. I hope we work through the concerns people have around parking, and I hope we continue to improve our road infrastructure so that riders have a safe place to use them.

Seems like most of the people who use the bikes are teens who are too young to drive or don't have a car.

I don't know how, but they need to be regulated more. It's unacceptable to have the scooters and bikes blocking sidewalks. They make the city inaccessible to wheelchair users. If we're going to cut down trees to create wide sidewalks, we need to keep those sidewalks clear.

These are pests. They need to be placed in designated areas and not thrown everywhere! Company needs to regularly pick them up and deposit them in designated areas or they will find them in ditches.
