Alaina Olson of Shorewood ties for ninth in State 3A girls’ high jump

Shorewood junior Alaina Olson tied for ninth place in the State 3A girls’ high jump at the State meet at Mount Tahoma High School in Tacoma Thursday.

Olson jumped 4-10, behind the winner at 5-4, five jumpers at 5-2, one at 5-1and two at 5=0.

Competition in other events continues Friday and Saturday.
