Día de los Muertos celebration at Evergreen Washelli October 29, 2026

Evergreen Washelli will host its fourth annual Día de los Muertos celebration on Thursday, October 29, 2026 bringing the Seattle community together for an evening of remembrance, music and cultural traditions.

The free, family-friendly celebration will feature mariachi, ballet folklórico, face painting, food, prizes, children's activities and local vendors. The annual event typically draws 300 to 400 attendees.

Día de los Muertos is a tradition centered on remembering and celebrating the lives of loved ones who have died. As part of the celebration, Evergreen Washelli will create a community ofrenda where families can honor their loved ones by displaying photographs.

Community members can bring photos to the event or drop them off at Evergreen Washelli throughout October.
