Summer Reading is for All Ages this year - visit your local KCLS Library to pick up a summer reading log beginning June 1!

Chess @ the Shoreline Library
Sunday, June 2, 1-3pm
Ages 6 and older; tweens and teens welcome.

Join the club! Play chess, learn chess or teach chess to others. Drop in to enjoy a casual and fun atmosphere with snacks provided. All skill levels are welcome. We’ll have chess boards and people willing to teach those who want to learn.

Knight Skies Show
Monday, June 17, 7pm
Ages 5 and older.
Presented by Knights of Veritas.

Throughout history, people have wondered about the movement of planets and stars. Learn about science in medieval times and see examples of armor, weapons and scientific tools.

Space is limited. First come, first seated.

Evening Family Story Time
Monday, June 24, 6:30pm
Ages 3 to 6 with adult, families welcome.

Enjoy stories, songs and a simple craft especially for preschoolers and their families. Lots of wiggling and giggling guaranteed!

Preschool Story Time
Tuesday, June 25, 10:30am
Ages 3 to 6 with adult, siblings welcome.

Stories, songs and summer surprises just for preschoolers! This is a great way to get your child ready to read.

Summer Meals at the Library
Mondays-Fridays, June 26-August 28, 12-1pm Activities begin at 12:30pm. No lunch on July 4. Ages 1 to 18.

Nourish your body and brain while you read this summer. Grab a FREE lunch and take part in fun activities! In partnership with Hunger Intervention Program.

The Gravity Catastrophe Show
Thursday, June 27, 10:15am
Family program, all ages welcome.

Presented by Alex Zerbe, The Zaniac.

Join us for this “out of this world” show complete with a tornado of juggling and a whirlwind of scientific knowledge!
