Suspicious person seen at Madrona K-8 school in Edmonds

Tuesday, October 13, 2015

Edmonds Police report that on Saturday, October 10, a man was reportedly trying to get a group of kids to go into the woods with him at the Madrona K-8 school in Edmonds. He told them he needed help finding his dog.

A parent scared the man off and he ran into the woods.

He was a middle-aged white male, slightly overweight. He had shaggy brown hair. Wearing a blue jacket and jeans.

This is a good reminder to discuss these types of situations with your kids so they know what to do if you are not around!

The school is located at 9300 236th St SW, Edmonds, WA 98020 just off Edmonds Way and about six blocks north of NW Shoreline.
