Internet Safety for Children and Parents Monday at Shoreline Library

Sunday, October 25, 2015

The Internet brings your children a world of information, education, and entertainment by opening a door to anywhere in the world. By the same token, the Internet is an open door into your home by anyone in the world.

Without taking precautions, your family may be at risk to dangers online that affect the real world of your family.

Learn how to navigate the Internet safely and still have access to all the educational and entertainment the Internet has to offer. Learn also how to minimize your personal information from being collected by government agencies and corporate entities without your consent.

You can control the information you want to share and keep private information private using simple, yet effective methods.

The goal of this presentation is not to avoid using the Internet, but rather maximize use of the Internet in a safe manner.

Monday, October 26, 6:30-7:30pm, Shoreline Library large meeting room, 345 NE 175th, Shoreline 98155. Sponsored by the Friends of the Shoreline Library.
