Sunday forum on initiatives at Richmond Beach canceled

Sponsors have canceled the Sunday forum on initiatives 1366 and 1401 at the Richmond Beach Congregational Church.

Initiative 1366 would reduce the state sales tax unless the legislature proposes a constitutional amendment to require a two-thirds legislative vote to raise taxes.

Initiative 1401 would ban the sale of products from the parts of endangered species.

Both initiatives are on the November 3 general-election ballot.
