LFP City Crews respond to January Snow Storms

Public Works team members have been working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week starting Saturday, January 14, 2012, and will continue until the weather event has subsided. As of Tuesday, January 17, 2012, Public Works crews had deployed 60 tons of sand mix along with 1,000 gallons of deicer to the city streets. More information on snow removal is available on the Public Works Department’s Emergency Response Snow Removal page (below).

See this page for primary routes and location of sand piles.

Citizens are encouraged to keep catch basins and storm drains in their neighborhoods clear of snow, ice, and debris.
