January 10 Flag lowering

Governor Chris Gregoire has directed flags at all Washington State agency facilities be lowered to half-staff Tuesday, January 10, 2012, in memory of Ranger Margaret Anderson who died in the line of duty January 1, 2012 at Mt. Rainier National Park.

Flags should remain at half-staff until close of business Tuesday, or first thing Wednesday morning, January 11.

Other government entities, citizens and businesses are encouraged to join this recognition.

A public memorial service for Margaret Anderson has been set for 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10 at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma.
