Senior Center Kupunas
The Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Senior Center will hold its Annual Aloha Luau at St Luke Parish Hall, 322 North 175th Street in Shoreline on Saturday, October 2, starting at 5:30 pm. 

Tickets are on sale at the Senior Center located at 18560 1st AVE NE, #1 on the Shoreline Center campus. General admission tickets are $20, for seniors, 60+ tickets are $18, for children 12 and under: $8. The Center is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Tickets can be purchased by credit card by calling the Senior Center at 206-365-1536.

Elias Kauhane
The featured dancers are from the Hokulani Studio Dancers and the Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Senior Center Kupunas (elders). Elias Kauhane, a Richmond Beach resident and Hawaiian musician will also be playing traditional island music. Kathy De Aguiar, the Kumu (teacher) for all the dancers, will also be catering the event. The menu will include Kalua Pork, Huli Huli Chicken, Chicken Long Rice, Mac Salad and Green Salad. Chef Janice from the Senior Center will bake a special Aloha Luau Coconut cake.

This year, shuttle service will be available from the Senior Center to St Luke, departing at 4:15, 4:30, 4:45 and 5:00 pm with return trips after the event. There is no charge for the service, but donations will be accepted. Sign up at the Senior Center if you want to take advantage of this opportunity.
