Out on a limb: cat rescue in Shoreline

Kompushy was out on a limb

This is Kompushy, the fluffy Persian. Canopy Cat Rescue rescued her from a deodar cedar in Shoreline last month.

All her friends and neighbors stood at the base of the tree, mystified about how we were gonna get her down. With a high tie in the balance, getting out to her was pretty easy.

If you are not out on a limb this weekend, come check out Sea-Meow Convention in Seattle! Shaun will be speaking and telling stories about cat rescues Saturday November 7, 2026 from 2:30-3:15pm at the Seattle Center Exhibition hall 301 Mercer St, Seattle, WA 98109
