Flags at Half-Staff November 9, 2026 (Deputy Sheriffs Mason Acheson and Parker Perry)

I am deeply saddened by the deaths of Spokane County Deputy Sheriffs Mason Acheson and Parker Perry, who tragically lost their lives in the line of duty. 

I hereby direct that Washington State and United States flags at all state agency facilities be lowered to half-staff in their memory on Monday, November 9, 2026.

Flags should remain at half-staff until the close of business on Monday, November 9, 2026.

Other government entities, individuals, and businesses are encouraged to join this recognition.
