Shorecrest boys edge out Edmonds-Woodway Tuesday

The Shorecrest boys basketball team jumped out to an early lead Tuesday night at home against Edmonds-Woodway, then hung on to outlast the Warriors 62-59.

Brantle Harris' driving layup with  30 seconds to play gave the Scots the cushion they needed to withstand the visitor's last gasp attempt at the buzzer.

Drew Magaoay led the Scots with 25 points, including 8-for-10 from the free throw line.

Overall, SC was 15-for-26 from the charity stripe.
