It was a difficult night tonight for the Shorewood wrestling team as they fell 42-18 to league rival Edmonds-Woodway. In bout after bout the Edmonds wrestlers found something little to pull out decision after decision.

Even Shorewood’s best win of the night, a 6-0 win by Erik Harris-Uldall, was ugly as Edway’s Hiram Martin was penalized twice for unnecessary roughness for twice slapping Harris-Uldall in the side of the head. Senior Erca Erdenebayer kept his record perfect at 14-0 when Edmonds-Woodway coaches decided to forfeit to him instead of sending their wrestler out to end the match.

Shorewood wrestles next on Friday, Jan. 16th, @ Mountlake Terrace.
