Host a foreign exchange student

Wednesday, May 1, 2013

Being a host family is a wonderful experience that enriches the lives of students and families throughout the world. By accepting a foreign exchange student into your home, you are opening your heart and mind to a culture and helping to bridge the gap between two different countries.

International Student Exchange is seeking host families for foreign exchange students, age 15 – 18, who will attend your High School for the upcoming 2013-2014 school year.

Our exchange students come from many countries including: Austria, Belgium, Brazil, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Japan, Norway, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, and Vietnam. Also Bolivia, Columbia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Finland, Hungary, Mexico, Slovakia, Taiwan and Montenegro.

All students have good English skills. Our students also have full health insurance and monthly spending money for all personal needs. The students have the desire to perfect their English skills and want to live as a member of an American family. Host families do not need to have teenagers of their own; young families as well as empty nesters are excellent high school student hosts.
