Boys Soccer: Bonney Lake in semifinals for the first time in school history

Sunday, May 19, 2013

Bonney Lake reached the final four for the first time in school history.

From our news partner, The Seattle Times
Tyler John scored twice Saturday night as Bonney Lake beat Shorewood 4-2 in a Class 3A quarterfinal game at Sunset Chev Stadium.
The Panthers (17-4) earlier in the week got their first state-playoff win, 1-0 over Lakeside in the first round.
They will meet Hanford in the semifinals at 4 p.m. Friday at Sparks Stadium in Puyallup. Bainbridge and Shorecrest are the other semifinalists.
Bonney Lake overcame an early deficit after Shorewood's Abdul Abdulla scored after a throw-in in the fourth minute.
