Shoreline Chamber of Commerce Membership Luncheon will be held Wednesday, May 8 11:45am, Shoreline Center, Alumni Room, RSVP, $20
The speaker is Calvin Goings of the Small Business Administration

The focus at SBA is to help small business start, grow, and succeed.  Today, more than half of working Americans either own or work for a small business, and small businesses have created about 65% of net new jobs for the past 15 years. So small businesses are the drivers of innovation and competitiveness and they’re the key to the long term growth of our economy.

The Regional Administrator for the U.S. SBA’s job is to oversee President Obama’s small business programs and initiatives in the four state region of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska. 

RA Goings presentation will cover two issues:  a brief overview of SBA's core services and programs and a discussion of several national initiatives that have a direct local impact

RSVP is required no later than Tuesday morning, May 7, for members and visitors so we can order lunches from our Caterer, Special Occasions. To reserve your spot send an email to the Chamber and Sharon will confirm your reservation, or register on-line with a credit card.   

Note: If you need to cancel your reservation you must let the office know before the deadline to avoid being charged.  If you do not have a reservation you will be seating on a space available basis once the luncheon starts.
