This was the second time that Irons has received the award, also receiving it in 2009 for outstanding contributions to the remodeling industry. Joseph has been a professional remodeling contractor since 1999.

In addition to running his remodeling business with his wife, Melissa Irons, Joseph chaired the MBA Remodeler's Council (the largest and oldest in the nation) and will do so again this year. In addition, he served on several MBA committees, including Rampathon, Finance, Career Connections Board of Governors, and was a member of the MBA Board of Directors.

His company is known in Shoreline, Edmonds, and surrounding areas for spearheading the annual Rampathon project, building accessible home entrances for people whose access to their homes is limited by mobility issues.
